TrackDX, LLC ("TrackDX," "we," "us," or "our") built TrackDX to help people track medical conditions on their own terms, without handing their health information over to anyone else. This Privacy Policy explains what information the TrackDX mobile app and this website (www.trackdx.net) collect, how that information is used, and the choices you have. By using the app or this website, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

Everything you log in the TrackDX app — your conditions, episodes, triggers, and medications — is stored only on your device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to your health data. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. Data leaves your device only when you choose to export or share it yourself.

Information collected in the TrackDX app

TrackDX does not require an account, a sign-in, or an internet connection to function. The app does not automatically collect, transmit, or have any mechanism to transmit your health data to TrackDX, LLC or to any third party. Specifically:

Conditions, episodes, triggers, medications, and any notes you enter are saved locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage framework (SwiftData). We never receive a copy.
The app does not include analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs that transmit usage data off your device.
If you enable the optional Face ID / Touch ID lock, that authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system — TrackDX never sees or stores biometric data.

Data you choose to share

TrackDX gives you tools to move your own data off your device when you decide to — we do not do this automatically or in the background:

Exporting your history: You can export your logged history as an .xlsx spreadsheet from the Me tab. That file is created on your device and only leaves it if you choose to save it, email it, or share it yourself.
Physician summary: You can generate a one-page PDF summary to share with a healthcare provider. This file is likewise created on-device and shared only at your direction.
Importing data: If you import a spreadsheet (including one prepared with the help of a third-party AI assistant, as described on our Import page), that file is read directly on your device to populate the app. We do not receive a copy of it.

How information is used

Health data you enter in the app is used solely to power the app's own features on your device — logging, history, and the statistical insights TrackDX calculates for you. Website analytics data is used only to understand and improve trackdx.net. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Third-party services

The TrackDX app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. This website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, which processes data under its own privacy policy. If you export or share a file from the app using Mail, Gmail, Files, or a similar app on your device, that transfer is governed by the privacy policy of the service you chose to use.

Data retention and deletion

Your health data stays on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. You can delete individual conditions and their associated history at any time from the Me tab, or remove all data by deleting the app. Because we never hold a copy of your health data, there is nothing further for us to delete on our end.

Children's privacy

TrackDX is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app stores data only on-device and we have no server-side access to it, we have no ability to identify or respond to data submitted by a child through the app itself. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, please contact us and we will address it.

Your choices and rights

Because your health data lives only on your device, you are always in control of it: you can view, export, or permanently delete it at any time directly within the app. If you have questions about how this website's analytics data is handled, you can adjust your cookie preferences in your browser or reach out to us using the contact information below.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited. It may use cookies and does not collect any health information. You can control this through your browser's cookie settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app or this website evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Terms of Use

This Privacy Policy explains how TrackDX handles your information. The TrackDX Terms of Use set out the agreement between you and TrackDX, LLC for using the app, including the license granted to you, the medical disclaimer, and the terms covering in-app purchases. Together the two documents form the complete agreement.
